What do we provide?

Salterhebble provides a wide range of after-school clubs covering academic, creative and sporting activities. Some of the clubs are run by our staff and others by specialist trainers. All year groups have a chance to take part in our programme at some stage of the year.

Examples of the sort of clubs children can attend at different times of the year are:

Athletics, Board Games, Choir, Comic, Commando Joe's, Computer Coding, Cookery, Craft, Cricket, Football - Boys and Girls, Gymnastics, Homework, Judo, Library, Multi-skills (sport), Netball, Study Write, Tri-Golf, Ukelele.

School provides specialist music lessons for all pupils including singing, Recorders, Percussion, Ukelele.

Instrumental music tuition is also available at the school in conjunction with Calderdale Music Trust.

We put on seasonal plays and concerts for parents.

Classes make various educational visits appropriate to their curriculum. Year 2 have the opportunity to attend a sleep over in school, Year 5 take part in adventurous activities during a residential at Robin Wood in Todmorden and Year 6 take part in a residential outdoor pursuits week in the Lake District.

Hebble Harlequins

Hebble Harlequins Out of School Club operates at Spring Hall and provides childcare for pupils attending our school. Their opening hours are: 7am - 9am and 3:15pm - 6pm. They also organise a school walking bus.
