Admissions to Reception in 2024
Calderdale Council co-ordinates admissions to all schools within Calderdale. If you live within Calderdale, you must complete a Calderdale online application, even if you wish to choose a school outside the Calderdale area as one of your preferences. Parents of children resident outside Calderdale, who want to apply for a Calderdale school must apply through their home local authority.

The date for applying for a place for your child for Reception in September 2023 is 15th January 2024. Applications can be made from 17th November 2023 onwards and need to be completed through the Local Authority's Primary Admissions portal. If you are considering including Salterhebble as one of your chosen schools, you are welcome to visit the school to meet with the headteacher and experience first hand the ethos and organisation of our school. We are happy to offer visits on an individual basis as we value the importance of being able to spend time getting to know you and your child.
Calderdale Council inform all parents and carers of the school that their child has been offered on National Offer Day on 16th April 2024.
